I am a conceptual artist who works with mixed media (photos/videos/paintings/drawings/collages/installations) under the name “The A.R.T. of being K.A.R.L.A. K.A.R.I.S.M.A.
All my works are based on my self portraits (which I take und edit with my cell phone) and my interpretation of femininity.
“The A.R.T. of being K.A.R.L.A. K.A.R.I.S.M.A.” is a dance between Eros&Thanatos, a provocative statement of femininity through different eras where the boundaries between reality an fiction become blurred.
My artwork is a tribute to the culture and the history of Europe and all the values that it stands for.
